Is It Just Me?
Or is Foreign Born‘s Person to Person going to be one the best records this summer…
I was lucky enough to get an advance of it a few months ago and I seriously cannot stop listening to it. Foreign Born are from L.A. and despite the fact that I think L.A. is kind of wacked out city. Foreign Born knows what they are doing and really know how to make a good record. Their first record was self released in ’07 later Dim Mak picked it up and did the distribution. This new one will be out on Secretly Canadian home to (Antony & the Johnsons, Jens Lekman, etc) I caught them a few years ago in Brooklyn and was blown away. The record comes out in June! You can find it now if you know where to search but lordy please buy it!
