Manastash
In the most recent Outdoor Style Book from Lightning (a japanese magazine), I stumbled upon a brand I had seen before awhile back called Manastash.
Upon doing more research, I found out its made here in the USA. Heavily influenced by old Patagonia, and The North Face, Manastash pieces are made for the outdoors and always accented with bold colors and muted hues. A lot of the pieces are also made with hemp and goretex (strange combo no?).
As you can see they are a brand that doesn’t skimp on the details and is all about functionality. Many pieces they make are water resistant if not water proof and most are reversible! I would love to see these more in person and check them out more.
This jacket seems pretty slick to me, though I think to pull it off you would have to add some tweed, flecked wool, or canvas pants.

I was thinking about ordering this issue. Worth it?
I’ve quite pleased with it. It shows some great stuff. Though I’m a huge sucker for any japanese/american style magazine. ha
Cool, I’ll have to order it from somewhere soon. Thanks.
