New Arrivals at Sid Mashburn

New Arrivals at Sid Mashburn

Its always the basics that keep this guy satisfied.

Some washed chinos, a button up shirt, and a nice pair of shoes. Sid Mashburn’s shop in Atlanta (which is the only shop other than Context that I hear about people planning their whole day around) has gotten a fresh delivery of the goods which continue to tempt the wallet…Even a paisley pop-over! Woot!

I’ve purchased a few things from Sid Mashburn before and have always been really happy with their service (no tax either depending on where you’re shipping to). Their trousers are made in Brooklyn and have gotten quite a bit of wear from me. Their shirts are made impeccably well, nice thick buttons that make you think you’re …

xx: A Sculpture of the Album

I was at the creators project over the weekend and checked out the xx: A Sculpture of the Album exhibit by director Saam Farahmand. It was pretty sick.…

      Wooden Sleepers

      Wooden Sleepers

      I think etsy is amazing.

It’s like this huge attic, you take it for granted, then you check it out and are like “whoa…there’s some good stuff in here!”

The only bummer on etsy is there are no shops for men…there is now. A friend of mine just opened up wooden sleepers and well, its pretty awesome.…

        Listen To This: Neighbors

        Listen To This: Neighbors

One of my favorite bands right now is Neighbors. Like most good music, its coming from Brooklyn. Thank God this EP is finally out because if I hear any more Drake I’m going to flip.…

          Moncler Gamme Bleu Spring 2011

          Moncler Gamme Bleu Spring 2011

Thom Browne has become more and more into the urban design and aesthetics of the bike messenger.  Is this a bad thing? Honestly? I think its a great spin and take on Thom’s usual shrunken suit.

“Activewear that is functional and stylish” was his original idea and motto, but just like any show that Thom does the looks are bizarre and so is the presentation.…

            Ben Sherman Modern Classics

            Ben Sherman Modern Classics

Yes, I’m about as stunned as you. The classics never die…ever.

I won’t lie, I’ve never been a fan of Ben Sherman but I’m surprised, I’d wear any one of these pieces anyday.

If it was Michael Bastian, Thom Browne, or Visvim I bet a few of you would be like whoa where can I buy!?

I guess this just goes to show that every brand needs another chance. I mean even Tommy Hilfiger is back.…

                Unboxing…

                Unboxing…

A big thanks Erik Schedin for sending these my way. These are the most perfect tennis shoes, not too heavy or flashy and will look great over time. Flip the Beach Boys LP I’m outta here.…
