Arfango Firenze
With this driving shoe craze continuing to run wild, I wanted to remind everyone Tod’s is not the only brand out there. In fact one of the best brands (in my personal opinion) is Arfango Firenze.
The brand was actually founded in 1902, so in old Italian brands, is merely a teenager. Named after a white owl as a symbol of good luck the logo is on each and every shoe. Arfango is also one of the few brands I admire that also manufactures footwear for women.
The company had blossomed in the late 1960′s and has recently experienced a revival (like most brands people were in love with in the 60′s). I don’t have much criticism for the brand, except it is just not found in enough stores in the US. Though I have a feeling with their successful showing at Pitti quite a few stores will be picking this brand up.
The Italian driving shoe in the wide variety of colors to me is one of the primary reasons Italians just do it better. At least we have our Camp Moccs!
Last but not least these shoes are so they cool they come in a CAN! BINGO!

these are great! but not a gommini like tods or car shoe, so slightly different, no?…
