New Arrivals at Howard Yount

New Arrivals at Howard Yount

Howard Yount is one of my favorite go to sites for the classics. He has some of the nicest most affordable stuff out there and hasn’t let me down yet.

Good to see some new ties and accessories–just getting me exciting for spring.

I love the paisley pocket squares, just enough color and pop to add to any sportcoat. Two please!

One of my favorite design blogs is Hindsvik.

Based out of  Canada and run by a cute couple (of course).

They have a beautiful online shop and showcase renovation of their house from the 1940′s.

The shop has been growing in popularity recently thanks to a nod from being an etsy featured seller.

It’s pretty inspiring and considering I just moved I might be picking up a few things from them soon!

    Frosting windows anyone? Sounds good!

      Caruso Says Color!

      Caruso Says Color!

Do Italians overdo it? Nope…not at all.

Raffaele Caruso’s spring line has hit shops now and it’s looking pretty pretty pretty good!

Not everyone has heard of Caruso but, most of you have their stuff in your closet a la Ralph Lauren (blue label). They make some of the best mid range Italian clothes out there. With full floating canvases their jackets would be grail status for the tumblr kids.

This spring they got the colors in full swing!

Caruso never really tries to set trends, they just coast on what’s going on out there. Simple statements like beltless pants, 70′s turtle necks mixed with their gorgeous fabrics and you got spring on lock down…in Monoco.

          Black Fleece Spring 2011

          Black Fleece Spring 2011

Has anyone ever heard the phrase “beating a dead horse”?

Don’t get me wrong I’ve always been a big fan of TB, but I feel like the Black Fleece line just isn’t progressing– it’s more recycling older looks from early Thom Browne.

This season consists of his usual staples high waisted pants, slim oxfords, ungodly short blazers, and the cardigan that only looks good when you wear it with his pants cardigan.

Now before you think I’m rattling on about nothing bear with me, the original deal with Black Fleece was “Thom Browne meets Brooks Brothers meets Italian Tailoring”. Fall 2007 was a knockout! Beautiful suits that weren’t too short, not too slim and were enough to woo the original …
