Michael Bastian F/W 2010

Sunday night L.A.S. and I headed over to Exit Art to see the Michael Bastian show.

Few quick notes on the show before I dive in.

1. Really well done, a nice mix of british punk, american style and italian tailoring (cuccinelli).

2. John Malkovich was there = double awesome (pic from my twitter account here)…

      Band of Outsiders F/W 2010

      Walking into Band of Outsiders was interesting.…

        Thom Browne – Gamme Bleu

        While capsule was going full steam. Pitti Uomo was on in Milan.

        Recently Moncler (the french shiny puffy down company) asked Thom Browne to design a line for them. His take was ”…even your outerwear should be tailored” Agreed Thom, well put. I just can’t drop 2k on a down coat that fits like a blazer, or for that matter 2k for a coat! Its still really cool looking. Thom continues to have great ideas and concepts, the man is seriously a genius.…

          Yeah I got to go. Yeah it was how Michael Bastian shows are, bad music, rude attendees but fantastically made well put together clothes.
