A Bracelet Worth Buying

A Bracelet Worth Buying

More and more recently, men have been wearing beaded bracelets. Is this a trend?

Yeah.

Is it a good trend?

Of course!

I’ve always been a fan of bracelets. It’s a nice way to just add a pop of color or a little expression to your outfit (notice I didn’t say kit).

Paul Kim (a styleforum member) started selling his own beaded bracelets for a nice price of $15 a pop!

Much cheaper and better than the other crap folks are selling. A bracelet should be affordable anyway. I mean you’re probably going to lose it in less than a year anyway right? Unless you bought one of those Hermes Jumbo bracelets.

Kim’s bracelets are made with stone, glass …

    Brooklyn Watches

    Brooklyn Watches

No, not a watch that rides a fixed gear bike.

No, not a watch that only eats organic.

How bout a watch that is 17 jewel manual wind movement? (a vintage one from the 60′s at that)

How bout an old Panerai case? Mineral crystal? Exhibition caseback?

    Yup…that’s a Brooklyn Watch.

Made by David Sokosh of Clinton Hill clocks. He’s been a master watchmaker for years and recently decided to start making his own wristwatches.

Best part is these watches are pretty affordable! All are between $400-$600.

If you want to check them out in person David is at the Brooklyn Flea every weekend…or check his website

Either way, just check out these beauties…

      ‘Tis The Season for…Hiking Boots

      ‘Tis The Season for…Hiking Boots

It seems that hiking boots are blowing up…everywhere.

I mean it makes sense, they’re quality shoes and can be quite versatile. Would I wear them with a suit?

Probably not, I think I would need gray hair, a beard, and medicare.

Check out these kicks and ponder your outdoor exploration…of the subway.

        Get Yourself Some Socks

        Get Yourself Some Socks

I’m never without enough hats, scarves or even coats (thank the good Lord!).

But, I run low on socks…at least good socks.

For some reason, I would always cut the corner on socks and pay for it…dearly.

Holes like nobody’s business, I might as well have been from Camp Anawanaa.

So I’ve decided to step my game up and get some quality socks. It’s winter after all and I’m not going for the bare ankle look (though some idiots still are).

I recently stumbled upon Socks Fox, they have some of the best deals out there on Corgi and Falke–only second to Howard Yount‘s Marcoliani selection.

I’ve always been a fan of striped and patterned socks, they …

          Agatine Eyelet

Pshhh..and you thought I was obsessed with Alden.

Not anywhere near as much as this guy is. And I’m glad to hear it! A fairly new blog on the scene I think he’s only done a handful of posts but, I havn’t seen any blog go as deep into Alden shoes as much as this guy, and from following him on the forums there is plenty more where this comes from.

Please do yourself a favor and give it a read.…

            Wooden Sleepers

            I think etsy is amazing.

It’s like this huge attic, you take it for granted, then you check it out and are like “whoa…there’s some good stuff in here!”

The only bummer on etsy is there are no shops for men…there is now. A friend of mine just opened up wooden sleepers and well, its pretty awesome.…

              SWT Endorses: Cutler and Gross

Yes for the past week or so I’ve been in London. The weather has been pretty nice for the most part and I’ve gotten a chance to visit some great shops and drink some good English ale.

One of the shops I went to was Cutler and Gross in Knightsbridge, wow was I impressed.…
