Some Friends Stopping By…

As you may have read already, I recently started doing a new feature called “Wear and Tear”.

Basically, about your stuff.

Is it worth the money? Has it lasted? Etc.

I’ve asked some good friends of mine in the land o’ blogs to throw in their two cents.

Luckily…

James from Secret Forts continues to pioneer the internet for mankind and on his way, dropped some knowledge and experience at SWT. (Nice guy isn’t he?)

Check for his post this week.

Alden Saddle Shoe

I’ve never been a big fan of the saddle shoe, but these new arrivals from Alden x Blackbird are amazing. These are made by Alden (duh) in Massachusetts and available exclusively at Blackbird in Seattle (or online).

Comb Your Hair

You don’t think that hair styled itself do you?

Get Your Spring Parka

Huddled by your radiator? Bummer.

Well if you’re like me, you don’t hang around your radiator because when you go near it shakes and shrieks like a Jonas Brothers fan.

So I just think about spring and how I’m going to get a fake tan and flare my hair out.

All seriousness aside here.

I’m just thinking about these!

A Bit of Construction

You might have already noticed some minor changes here and there on swt.

Keep on the look out for a bit more as I move to a dedicated server and apologies for any hiccups that might happen along the way.

The team is working hard and we’ll be back IN HD (not really but it will definitely be sweet)

HIT IT!

Ski Sweaters

I’ve always been into the rather loud and obnoxious sweaters. Specifically ski sweaters.

They have this classic throw back vibe to them that has always resonated with me. Almost any warm feeling winter memory has always involved the wooly beast (ski sweater). Lately, I have been doing some eBay hunting looking for some vintage ones. *note all pictures taken from eBay listings

A Bit of Inspiration

This is was created by French artist Céleste Boursier-Mougenot.

Creating interesting sounds inspired by daily life.

Pretty cool, trust me I’m no hippie (I don’t even like Trey Anastasio) I just dig this.
